Well here at home we've been finishing getting all of our Christmas decorations out. It's been really fun to watch all of the little's one's intense desire to "help". Luke is actually helpful, but Mia and Alice require a bit more help themselves, just to help us if that makes sense. And Joseph, he just goes around undoing what we do! Yesterday he unwrapped one of Dad's gift, pulled all the beautiful leaves off of the Poinsettia that Dad bought, ripped several of the round bulb ornaments off the tree (he calls them balls and throws them). Even though it's really cute, it's so much work to try to teach him. But all in all it is a special time to watch their faces. Luke asked me yesterday "Mom what is the magic that happens at Christmas? That song says "magic that only happens at Christmas"." I stopped and had to think for a minute. It was hard to explain of all that that "magic" entails. There's the spiritual side of Christmas and then the commercial side of it. They both entail magic and his little 6 year old mind is awfully curious. Also Mia said "I cant wait to celebrate Jesus' birthday." I thought that was special.

I love thinking back to all the memories we've had this time of year as a family. I REALLY love seeing the pictures that rotate on our computer of Christmas' past!
